Tuesday: If you have accepted God’s awesome gift of salvation, that’s great! But have you thought about taking your faith a step further and helping someone else understand what it means to have a real, personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Maybe a friend at school or in your neighborhood…or maybe even a family member? Ask God today to give you the boldness to share whenever you have the opportunity. Think you can’t? Read Isaiah 41:10…and Philippians 4:13, too!
Wednesday: Hesitant to share your faith because you don’t know exactly what to say? Afraid you’ll get a question you can’t answer? Don’t worry! You don’t have to have it all down perfect for God to use you. You just have to be willing! Check out 2 Timothy 1:7-9, and remember that what makes the biggest impact on people is your willingness to share honestly about what Jesus means to YOU. Talk about the difference He makes in YOUR life. NO ONE can ever argue that!
Thursday: As important as it is to open our mouths and share what God has done, it’s just as important for us to “speak” through our unspoken actions and attitudes. Think about it: Would those you spend time with recognize you as a follower of Jesus Christ…or “the crowd”? God wants you to stand out for Him (in a good way!) and draw people to Him by the way you act AND speak? Read Ephesians 4:22-32.
Friday: Sometimes we use words and other times actions. But most of the time it takes a little bit of both: timely words AND loving actions to back them up. Soooo… Who do you know that needs Jesus? Ask God to help you be willing to step out of your comfort zone and help them understand God’s love for them in the coming days and weeks. And don’t worry…He’s got your back! Read Deuteronomy 31:8.
Saturday: The Good News is just TOO GOOD to keep to yourself! Those of us who know Jesus personally need to be ready to speak up whenever an opportunity arises. Check out 1 Peter 3:15. Feel unprepared? Consider writing a paragraph or two about how you came to know Jesus and what He means to you. Then practice sharing with a Christian parent or friend. Then you’ll be a little less nervous when the time comes for you to share. You can do this! So give it a try. You’ll be glad you did.
